Tucked into the edge of Queenstown Marina, The Boat Shed Café is a Queenstown icon: historic, scenic, and always buzzing. Set inside a beautifully restored 1860s railway shipping office, it is the kind of place people bring their out-of-towners, celebrate slow mornings, and linger over lakeside brunches. 

  

The menu is seasonal, thoughtful, and full of flavour - a reflection of the region and the people who pass through it. Now we are looking for warm, confident waitstaff to join our front of house team and help create experiences that guests remember long after they leave.

A day in your life:
 

The lake is glassy, the espresso is hot, and you are moving through the floor with ease - topping up water, clearing plates, chatting with a couple who have just arrived off the Frankton Track. The door swings open and a couple arrive for lunch. You greet them with a smile, start up a conversation, and lead them to their table, keeping the pace flowing and the atmosphere warm. 
 

Service builds, the café is buzzing, and you thrive in the rhythm - pacing the floor with confidence, backing up your teammates, and checking in with the kitchen so everything runs seamlessly. The energy is good, glasses are clinking, and you know you are part of something that feels both polished and fun.
